Law Offices of Jennifer Johnson

Welcome to the San Francisco Law Offices of Jennifer Johnson.

I am a sole practitioner in The City, located in the Squiggly Building at 4XX Market Street, Suite 101. Phone 415-923-3456 Fax 415-923-3457

While I do have my own private practice, I work closely with several other law firms in the Bay Area, particularly in cases that involve extended litigation.
Some famous cases in which I have been involved are Oboe v Dulcimer.
A sues B for ruining his prize Apricot tree by trimming off some branches that extended over the property line. A's lawyer states that the branches were part of his tree and even though they extended over B's property line, B had no right to cut them which resulted in the tree dying.

To support his case, A's lawyer presents a precedent. In 1934 Mr. Dulcimer sued Mr. Oboe for the same thing. Dulcimer argued that his Apricot tree was already there when Oboe bought the property, and for thirteen years never complained (indeed he ate the Apricots that were on the branches inside his property) therefore he had no right to cut said branches. Oboe lost, and the judge ordered him to pay for the tree. Oboe appealed to the state Supreme Court, and again lost. Therefore, argues A, because of the Supreme Court ruling, B should have to pay for the ruined tree. This Supreme Court decision has a certain amount of influence on the judge.
Blah blah filler text.. Got to put something here.
